Promotion and sales of premier private label cosmetics and various skincare lines in a hip specialty store. Cosmetic sales experience REQUIRED. Must possess the following skills: self motivation, assertive sales driver, problem solver, team leader, ability to network with sales associates to promote the business within store and outside via promotional avenues, must be able to close sales and overcome objections.
Professional image and attitude REQUIRED!
• Ensure relationship building and customer satisfaction
• Look at ways of creating added sales volume through enthusiasm and knowledge of product
• Communicate store events to the staff
• Reinforce standards of the counter in image and hygiene practices and merchandising
• Delegate and follow up on daily counter responsibilities
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills
• Must maintain stock and inventory control
• Good follow-up and follow through; must be self sufficient and resourceful
• Must work well in a team environment
• Ability to stand for eight or more hours in selling environment
• Moderate physical effort: packing and unpacking of product/materials
• Familiarity with retail environment and stock room
